Question: The competent authorities (namely police) have arrested a lot of goods which are clothes of various types (including many different types of clothes) without invoices and documents proving the origin, the agency has issue sanctioning decisions and confiscate all exhibits. In order to process the above goods, do we have to go through inspection under Circular 21?

Answer:

Circular 21/2017 / TT-BCT issued the national technical standards on the limits of formaldehyde content and aromatic amines converted from azo dyes in textile products (QCVN: 01/2017 / BCT).

At Clause 3.1. QCVN: 01/2017 / BCT stipulates that "Products and goods before being sold for sale on the Vietnamese market must be announced in conformity with the provisions of this Standard; conformity marking (CR mark) ... "
